The bedroom was spacious and characterful with a fabulously comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The host was discreet, kind, relaxed, professional, friendly. The heating was excellent, keeping the stay warm and cozy in chilly January. The host's fantastic recommendations and local knowledge were invaluable. Attention to detail was mind-blowing, with fluffy towels, coffee, tea, biscuits. an amazing stay with nothing too much trouble.

The room at Northgate Bakery Annex was cozy and inviting, with a private bathroom that had a bath or shower. It felt like a retreat, a perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring. I loved having the option to soak in a relaxing bath or take a quick rejuvenating shower.

The only downside for me was that the room didn't have a mini-fridge. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The place had a private entrance, a kitchen and even a washing machine. Free parking nearby and WiFi.

Can you believe there was no personal hairstyling and makeup station in the bedroom? And the stairs, oh the horror.

The shower room on the upper floor was a nice addition, and having a downstairs cloakroom was convenient. The on-site parking was also a plus. Being within walking distance of shops was very convenient for exploring the area.

The washbasins in the rooms were quite small and could have been larger, especially in the upstairs toilet/shower room. The sitting room was a bit dark, which is common in old cottages, but it did affect the overall ambiance.

I always stay at this cozy place in Beccles. Staff kindly helped me find a car service. It suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, free parking, fishing, and no pets or smoking on-site. Can't wait to come back for New Year!

As bike riders, we loved the convenient on-site parking and the fact that the cottage is within walking distance of shops.
